“Calm in Chaos” represents the release of an emotion. The broad and deliberate strokes are meant to capture the uncertainty and angst. “Calm in Chaos” was also painted on a day when very bad weather was expected to wreak havoc on my community. This painting is meant to help one find grounding even in the midst of uncertain times.
Lastly, “Calm in Chaos” is ultimately a wish- that despite whatever comes your way, you can find, and hold onto something that gives tou grounding and peace.
